Age statistics

The tables below contains information regarding number and age of part-time fishermen, fulltime fishermen and vessel-owners with occupational fisher status. The renderings are for December 31st of the year in question, from the years 2009-2018. See the supplementary titles and notes in each table for further information on extraction criteria.

The tables were updated on Juna 19th 2019.

• Occupational full-time and part-time fishermen 2009-2018 - number and average age

The age statistics are based on CPR (Social Security Number) information on persons registered in The Danish Fishery Agency register on Individuals stated as vessel-owners (with occupational status as fulltime fishermen), fulltime or part-time fishermen.

If a vessel is owned by a company which is owned by another company, then the owners will not be included. No vessel-owners with status as part-time fishermen are included.
