If you wish to hold public fish auction in Denmark, you must have an authorisation from the Danish Fisheries Agency.
How to apply?
Application for authorisation to hold public fish auctions is made by filling out the form below:
- Authorisation to establish a public fish auction (doc)
When you complete your application you will need to provide the following information:
- Declaration accompanying application for authorisation (doc)
- Application for approval of manager (only if you have a manager to run the day-to-day operations) (doc)

In case of rejection
If The Danish Fisheries Agency decides to reject your application for authorisation, you will receive a reasoned notification. If you disagree with the decision to refuse your application, you have the right to appeal. The deadline for submitting an appeal is four weeks from date on which the decision was announced.
